Family Centre Activities
We organise and run a range of activities. The majority of the activities take place in the Church building and are open to all. Most activities are completely free, but there may be a small charge for materials.

Counseling Service
We now offer a counseling service to the residents of Buttershaw. Support for those who need help with grief, stress, worry or just to talk things over. Our counselor offers appointments, booked through ringing 01274 690262, on a donation fee basis (as a guideline whatever the client would earn in an hour would be the guideline donation per session). Playgroup
Children are our investment in today and tomorrow. We are investing in the future of our estate by providing a playgroup which is nothing short of excellent. Our dedicated team run sessions weekdays ,during term time, from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 and 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Children play, learn and relate to each other within a structured and fun environment. Places are limited and can be booked through Mandy Hirst (see contacts page for further details).

Contact Centre
Our Contact Centre offers a chance for separated parents to see their children in a safe and controlled environment. Arrangements are normally made through solicitors and sessions run on alternate Thursdays from 3.30 p.m. and alternate Saturdays from 9.30 a.m

Thursday Fun
Thursdays 1.00-2.30. An open session where children can play on our huge range of soft toys, slide and activities whilst the parents get chance for a cup of coffee or having a go at something very different from cookery to candle making.

Stepping Stones
For children who will be joining Playgroup Stepping Stones is a great way for them and their parents to get to know the staff and join in with some of the activities that make up Playgroup. Places can be booked through Mandy Hirst (see contacts page for further details). Sessions run Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1.00-2.30

Fresh 'n' Fruity
5 a day is easy with the price and quality of our fruit and vegetables. Brought straight from the market and sold every Tuesday-Thursday from 11.00 our fruit co-operative is the best deal on fruit.
