Counselling Service
We are delighted to offer a professional, creative and affordable counselling service to the residents of Buttershaw and immediate area. Click here for a Microsoft Publisher file with further details of the counselling service.

SupportOur counsellor is available by appointment to assist individuals or couples. Many different issues can be explored in counselling such as life crisis, stress, bereavement, abuse, self esteem issues, relationship problems and general issues. Our counsellor works creatively drawing on many different therapies to help a client. A potential client can either ring 01274 690262 ext 29 or e-mail counselling@buttershawbaptist.org.uk and our counsellor will return the call to assess the need and book an appointment.

Counselling is charged on a donation system. Where a client is able to donate we encourage donation at the rate of what they would earn or receive in benefits for an hour. For example someone earning the minimum wage would donate £5.75 for each counselling session. The counsellor will talk each client through this at the initial assessment.
